Bodybuilding is the use of progressive resistance exercise to control and develop one’s musculature for aesthetic purposes.  An individual who engages in this activity is referred to as a bodybuilder. In professional bodybuilding, competitors appear in lineups and perform specified poses (and later individual posing routines) for a panel of judges who rank them based on symmetry, muscularity, size, conditioning, posing, and stage presentation. 

Monster Bodybuilding Sports & Fitness is the place for any bodybuilding and fitness competitor to reach his or her full potential. With a full line of bodybuilding equipment, we are bringing the bodybuilding atmosphere from the 70’s and 80’s back to the gym! Just like in the classic film Pumping Iron.

Sports & Functional Training

Functional training is a type of exercise which involves training the body for the movements and activities performed in daily life.  It accomplishes this by adapting or developing exercises which allow individuals to perform activities more easily and without injury, thus improving their quality of life. 

Begin with an active stretching warmup period of about five minutes.  The first exercise is the “Turkish get up” performed with a kettle bell.  Segue into a combination of kicks and punches using focus-mitts. Next, add in a stabilization exercise like single kettle bell overhead press with a lunge.  Then, a series of functional dynamic movement patterns using a tornado ball, and plyometric jumps.  Next, a series of striking, using the focus-mitts and the heavy bag.  Finish up with a series of stretches and breathing exercises. 

Circuit & HIgh Intensity inTerval training

Our group fitness classes began with one simple question: How could we make the powerful results of 1-on-1 personal training available to more people?

The answer: provide the benefits of 1-on-1 training by keeping the same high quality while splitting the cost among 20-30 people per session. The key to that is our certified fitness coaches — who are basically the ultimate version of personal trainers.

They go beyond the basics of instructing a fitness class — they provide the personal accountability you need to reach the body of your dreams and keep it for good.

We focus not only on martial arts techniques, but in building discipline, character, accountability and respect in our students.
